This Privacy Policy explains how OpenGPC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website or submit an application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

When you submit an application through our website, we collect:

  • Full Name — to identify you and personalise our communication.
  • Email Address — to contact you regarding your application and partnership.
  • Google Play Console Screenshot — an image you upload to demonstrate your account's standing and history. This image is stored securely in our cloud storage.

We do not collect payment information, passwords, or access credentials through this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Review and evaluate your partnership application.
  • Contact you with a personalised payout offer.
  • Facilitate our WhatsApp-based consultation process.
  • Maintain a record of applicants for internal business purposes.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL). Uploaded screenshots are stored in a secure, access-controlled storage bucket.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Data Retention

We retain your submitted information for as long as necessary to evaluate your application and fulfil any resulting partnership. If your application is unsuccessful, we will delete your data within 90 days of that determination, unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are based in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access — you may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure — you may request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to Restriction — you may request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to Portability — you may request your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object — you may object to our processing of your data.

6. Cookies

Our website does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We may use essential browser storage (e.g. sessionStorage) to improve your browsing experience. No personally identifiable data is stored in cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our website:

  • Supabase — database and file storage. Privacy Policy
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — used for direct communication after application. Messages you send via WhatsApp are subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has submitted data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
